Each month our family school offers a wide range of lectures and lessons, to which we await families in every stage of their pregnancy and journey to parenthood. To acquaint yourself with all the lesson topics, times and prices we invite you to visit the family school calendar:

The easiest way to register your wish to participate in a lesson is to use the patient portal https://ipatsient.itk.ee/login or by calling 666 1900 on workdays.
East-Tallinn Central hospital family school lessons take place at the hospital or as e-lessons which happen in real time through Webex. When booking a lesson, please be attentive to where it is taking place – the family school room at the hospital or as an e-lesson. This information is easily found in the family school calendar, marked after the name of the lesson (Ravi tn. or e-lesson). We kindly ask you not to participate in any family school lessons taking place at the hospital in case you are experiencing any symptoms of disease. That way we take care of ourselves and protect others around us.
Our family school calendar includes lessons in Estonian, Russian and English. Lessons such as “Breastfeeding” and “Tour in the delivery department” are free of charge for everyone. To all our other paid lessons we await everyone to join with a partner as the partner can join free of charge.
When registering for a lesson through the family school calendar form, a successful booking has been made only when you receive a confirmation on your e-mail which also includes an invoice. When paying please be mindful to add your name and number of the invoice to the description field of the payment order. You can view and pay for all pending invoices through our patient portal https://ipatsient.itk.ee/login
Paying for family school lessons
For lectures and lessons taking place at the hospital the payment can be made at the information desk just before the lesson begins or right away if you book the lesson through the patient portal.
E-lessons can be paid for right away when booking them through the patient portal. When booking through the family school calendar form or the phone, you will receive an invoice on your e-mail, which must be paid within 24 hours after the invoice has been issued and before the lesson takes place. Otherwise, the booking will be cancelled. The link to join the e-lesson will be sent to your e-mail the evening before the e-lesson takes place! Please check all your inbox folders, including the junk mail folder.
If you are not able to participate in a lecture or a lesson, please cancel your registration by no later than 12.00 o´clock a day before (a workday) the event through the patient portal ipatsient.itk.ee, by phone 666 1900 or www.itk.ee/loobumine. This way we give as many families as possible the chance to gain new knowledge and skills.
Good practice for family school online lectures
1.When participating in a family school online lecture for the first time, please join 10 minutes before the start of the lecture to make sure that the sound and image work properly. If you are having trouble, make sure you have authorized Webex on your computer to use your computer’s camera and microphone.
2.Please join the online lecture at least five minutes before the start of the lecture. As the family school’s online lectures are not recorded, it is not possible to access any missed information if you are late.
3.The slides of the online lecture presentation are not subject to sharing. At the same time, lecturers are happy to share information on sources where you can get information or permit you to capture the most important slides as a photo or screenshot during your presentation.
4.After the link to the online lecture has been sent to you by e-mail, the service is considered provided and the paid fee is not refundable.
5.In the event of unforeseen errors or problems in participating in the online lecture, please notify us via the same e-mail address used to send the online lecture link to you or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. As for our part, we will help find a solution acceptable for you!
